Traditional Uses

Medicinally weaker than the root, dandelion leaves and flowers are a potassium sparing diuretic; not over-stimulating to the kidneys, useful in edema and hypertension. A wonderful alterative for nearly all chronic toxic or inflammatory conditions manifesting within the body such as eczema, acne, arthritis, chronic gastritis and enteritis. Used topically for skin problems and age spots. ^1. 2.

Anti-inflammatory; antioxidant; antispasmodic; astringent; bitter; emmenagogue; hypotensive; muscle relaxant; NS relaxant; nervine sedative; peripheral vasodilator; uterine tonic

Traditional Uses

A skeletal and smooth muscle relaxant with tissue specificity to the uterus, lungs and blood vessels. Can be used both internally, or topically to relieve cramps (especially menstrual and uterine/ovarian pain), asthma, and hypertension. Benefits muscle spasms, pain and cramping in any area (including leg and back pain), arthritis and polymyalgia. Helpful for nervous tension (suitable for children), earaches, acute bronchitis, palpitations, high blood pressure, angina, constipation, IBS, and infantile enuresis. ^1. 2.

Cooling anti-inflammatory.  Demulcent.  Cholagogue.  Diuretic.  Anthlemintic

Traditional Uses

Sweet, soothing and cooling anti-inflammatory.  Stimulates bile.  Healing for prostatitis, enuresis, and gonorrhea  Prevents the formation of kidney stones, clears bladder and urinary tract infections.  Lowers blood sugar levels and reduces edema.  Topically for bruises, swelling, sores and boils.

Traditional Uses

Used as an eye wash, for mouth sores and minor wounds, and it has been used traditionally as an antidote to venom and poisons.  We love it used for colour in herbal teas!! ^1.

Traditional Uses

For boils, abscesses, headaches, neuralgia, improves resistance to infections, cough, cold and flu.  For bacterial, viral, fungal infections, candida, parasites, fever, Lyme disease, allergies, glandular inflammation, cancer, ear and mouth infections, sore throat, tonsillitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, topical for mouth ulcers, herpes, eczema and psoriasis, boils and infections.
