Known in China as ‘Huang Chi’, which translates as ‘Yellow Leader’, it is one of the most important herbs they use due to its effect on the liver and for preventing flus and illness.
This nourishing plant also improves physical endurance, relieve excess sweating and bodily fluids, and is mildly warming.
Like all roots, it should be decocted (boiled) and simmered to extract it’s goodness ^2.
