Traditional Uses

An effective stimulant and aromatic for the lungs and stomach. Treats stomach conditions including flatulence, nausea, vomiting, and morning sickness (safe in pregnancy). They dispel chills and disinfect the lymphatics. Effective in colds and coughs. The volatile oil is a powerful analgesic (pain-relief); works well on gums for toothache and topically for insect bites and gout (dilute in carrier oil). ^2.
