Traditionally used as a blood cleanser, expectorant, analgesic, antiseptic, and to treat rheumatic aches. Exerts some of the most potent phytoestrogenic effects among medicinal plants and is incredibly valuable for menopausal women; high mineral content may improve bone and cardiovascular health.
